Assuming that Module is a custom field, you could add some code to the
custom_fields_updated hook in the work flow to do this.

Subject: Feature request: "module" and module maintainer

Lets say we have a project A.

What I like to do is this:

Project A has many "modules" and every "module" has a maintainer who is
in charge of it.
Lets say we have a module "Help".

When someone has a issue with the Help module, they select "Create New
Issue", then select a Module: "Help", fill in all the other required
fields and submit the Issue to Eventum.

The "Assignment" field is filled automatically. It gets the module
maintainers name (I can be changed, if needed).

As simple as that :)
